Things I Have Thanks to Minimalism

I’ve been practicing minimalism for 6 years, and today I’ve caught myself thinking about all the things I have thanks to it. Most people focus on what they don’t have in life, but I live such a content life thanks to minimalism practices that I need to share with you all the things I have because of it.

During the time of practicing minimalism, I cut out a lot of what I found to be unnecessary (for me) to make room for what I find to be more important.

Things I Have Thanks to Minimalism

So what do I have instead of a pile of material things?

I have MORE:

  • Time to relax, sleep, meditate
  • Time to read, write, research
  • Time to breathe, watch sunsets, go into nature
  • Time to learn new interesting things
  • Time to travel and visit interesting new places
  • Time to exercise and cook healthy foods
  • Time for my family and friends
  • Space in my home
  • Room for what is important
  • Energy to do the things I want
  • Attention to the people important to me
  • Creativity, confidence, and clarity of mind
  • Gratitude
  • Focus
  • Health
  • Happiness
  • Money
  • Freedom
  • Growth
  • Life

I also have LESS:

  • Stress
  • Worry
  • Anxiety
  • Fear
  • Guilt
  • Pressure
  • Work
  • Clutter
  • Expenses
  • Cleaning
  • Garbage
  • Need to compare
  • Junk food in my diet
  • Subscriptions
  • Anchors
  • Obligations
  • Desire to buy
  • Distractions
  • Material things
